(1) Due to sudden change of river bank or due to some natural disaster, to keep the means of transport or communication intact or to save people from extensive loss of property or for the protection of any other public property or any other extraordinary situation. If the Government of Nepal needs to acquire any land immediately, regardless of what is written elsewhere in this Act, the Government of Nepal may make a decision and order the local authorities to take action to acquire such land.

(2) According to subsection (1) In relation to the land to be acquired for the purpose of the work, a notice will be issued for the information of the concerned persons to disclose the matters mentioned in sub-section (1) of Section 9 and when such notice is issued, it may be issued in a manner deemed appropriate by the local authority so that the concerned persons can get information as soon as possible. p>

(3) After the notification as per sub-section (2) is posted, the local authority may take possession of the land at any time and from the date of taking such possession, the ownership of such land shall be retained by the Government of Nepal.

(4) According to this section When the land is acquired, if the walls and trees on such land and houses, walls, etc. are also acquired, the concerned person will get compensation for that.

(6) There will be no complaints regarding the land should not be acquired except for those who are not satisfied with the amount of compensation or compensation for the land acquired under this section.

(7) The person who is not satisfied with the compensation or compensation or may appeal to the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs within fifteen days from the date of issuance of the notice of determination of compensation and the decision of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs shall be final. The local authority will take action by following the procedures of section 23 and the provisions of section 24 will also apply in relation to such land.
